Blooddrive

 

Nursing School Blood drive which will be held  
at UH-Manoa Campus Center on Wednesday, November 18th from 8 am to 3  pm.

 

The Blood Bank of Hawaii requires at least 200 pints per day to  
supply the 19 hospitals statewide. According to statistics, 60% of all people will need blood at least once in a lifetime  With one donation, there is the  potential to save up to THREE lives. So please come and donate.

 

Requirements for donation:
-In general good health
-At least 18 years of age
-At least 110 pounds
-At least a year post-tattoo/ear-piercing (Ear piercing in jewelry  
store is acceptable and does not apply to this requirement)
-CAN be taking oral diabetes, blood pressure, and cholesterol  
medications (No insulin)
