Equipment
There are 24 Dell Dimension computer workstations available all workstations are equiped with Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. All are able to play CDs and DVDs. We do not have Zip Drives on any of the computers, however all have floppy drives and USB ports for flash drives.
Students are asked not to try and fix any equipment malfunctions themselves and to imediately seek the assistance of a lab monitor. This is to prevent the student from being liable for damages to the equipment if it breaks.
Printing Policy
The lab does have a printing policy that is enforced in order to conserve paper. Please (click here) to read the policy. Students are responsible for knowing the policy and use of the lab to print documents signifies that the student agress to the terms and conditions of the computer lab printing policy.
Also as a courtesy to your fellow students please limit your print jobs to 20 pages each time you send one.

The School of Nursing and Dental Hygiene Computer Lab Use Rules and Policies are similar to the Rules and Policies of the ITS Labs.
Use of the computer lab signifies that you agree to all lab rules and policies. Failure to comply with any of the rules or policies will result in removal of your computer lab privilages.
Saving Your Work
If you are planning to save your work, you must bring in your own computer disks. We will not provide one for you and we do not have Zip Drives.
The lab will not be responsible for loss of data, damage, loss of personal items, or personal injury. It is your responsibility to maintain periodic backups of your data.
Monitor Assistance
If needed, seek assistance from on-duty monitors around the lab or at the front desk.
The monitors are primarily responsible for assisting users to login/out, helping users get a session started/terminated, maintaining the general appearance of the lab, and assisting faculty members.
The monitors are not responsible for doing your work for you. Please take the time to learn how to use the computers effectively. The monitors cannot teach each individual how to do everything, nor are they expected to know all the answers. The monitors can help you look through online manuals for assistance with specific software in the labs.
