Additional Notes

Rolling Admissions – Definition and Process
All graduate degree programs within the Department of Nursing admit on a rolling admissions basis. Applicants are not evaluated in comparison to the entire applicant pool, but are judged on the merit of the individual’s application. As a result, decisions and notifications occur as applications arrive and are reviewed. The final deadline for the receipt of all required materials to the Department of Nursing and the Graduate Education is December 1.

Nursing Executive Leadership Specialty Track
The Nursing Executive Leadership track for MEPN applicants will only be offered to individuals applying during “odd” years (ex: 2013, 2015, 2017, etc). It will not be offered to people applying during the “even” years (ex: 2014, 2016, 2018, etc). Therefore, the Nursing Executive Leadership track will be offered again in the year 2015.

Please refer to the Department of Nursing’s website for more information about the graduate nursing programs.
