Quentin Burdick Rural Health Program

SITES

The six rural sites are Honokaa and Pahoa on the Big Island, Lanai, Molokai, and Hanalei and Waimea on Kauai. Each site is headed by a site coordinator who lives and works in the community year-round. The site coordinators serve primarily as community liaisons for the students, but their "other duties as assigned" include teacher, counselor, mentor and much more. The dedication and energy they contribute each year is endless.
