BS Admission Requirements for Registered Nurses
- Graduation from one of the following:
- NLN-accredited associate degree nursing program or University of Hawaii Community College nursing program;
- Non-NLN–accredited associate degree nursing program plus passing scores on the NLN Nursing Acceleration Exam II; or
- Hospital diploma school plus passing scores on the Nursing Mobility Profile II Examination.
- Completion of General Education Core requirements or equivalents that are prerequisites to the nursing program with a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or better. Transcripts are individually reviewed to determine course equivalencies. Course outlines and materials may be requested for review by the admissions committee.
- Acceptance to the University of Hawaii at Manoa. (Submit a UHM system application form and transcripts to the Admissions and Records Office four to six weeks prior to the application deadline.)
